Description

Anna Paul’s Viral Turkish Pasta Recipe is a flavorful and comforting dish made with yogurt, garlic, chili butter, and tender pasta. This Turkish-inspired pasta is rich, tangy, and perfectly spiced — a simple yet impressive meal that went viral for a reason.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or your choice)
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (adjust to spice preference)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, garlic, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  3. In a small pan over medium heat, melt the butter and olive oil together. Add paprika and chili flakes. Stir for 1–2 minutes until fragrant and slightly foamy. Remove from heat.
  4. Quickly mix the hot pasta into the yogurt mixture, adding a splash of pasta water to help create a silky sauce (yogurt should not curdle).
  5. Top with the warm chili butter and swirl to combine or serve drizzled on top.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Make sure the pasta is not too hot when mixing with the yogurt to avoid curdling.
  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the creamiest result.
  • Try adding sautéed spinach or grilled chicken for extra substance.
  • This dish is best served fresh and warm.
