Description

Air Fryer Salmon Bites are a quick and easy way to enjoy perfectly crispy, tender salmon in just minutes. These bite-sized pieces of salmon are seasoned and cooked to perfection in the air fryer for a healthy, delicious meal or snack.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, toss the cubed salmon with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Ensure the salmon is evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
  3. Arrange the salmon cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded to ensure even cooking.
  4. Air fry the salmon at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time for even crispiness. The salmon should be golden brown on the outside and cooked through (an internal temperature of 145°F or 63°C).
  5. Remove the salmon from the air fryer and drizzle with fresh lemon juice. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

  • If you like a bit more spice, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the seasoning mixture.
  • For a more crispy exterior, you can lightly coat the salmon bites with breadcrumbs before air frying.
  • If you’re using frozen salmon, make sure to thaw it completely and pat it dry before seasoning and cooking.
  • These salmon bites pair perfectly with a side of vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
