Description
Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these air fryer potato wedges are a quick and healthier alternative to traditional fries.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 medium russet potatoes, scrubbed and cut into wedges
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place potato wedges in a large bowl and cover with cold water. Let soak for 15-30 minutes, then drain and pat dry thoroughly.
- In a bowl, toss dried wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if needed.
- Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley if desired. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Soaking the potatoes helps remove excess starch for crispier wedges.
- Adjust spices to taste or add cayenne for a spicy kick.
- Best served fresh, but can be reheated in the air fryer for a few minutes.
